Umoja Rising’s Double Statement

...

The NCL is heating up, and Umoja Rising are quickly emerging as one of the teams to watch after an impressive run that saw them claim two convincing victories, including a dramatic overtime thriller against Bucknight.

Umoja Rising first produced one of the most exciting finishes of the league so far, edging Bucknight 66–63 in overtime in a game that came down to the final possession. With the game hanging in the balance, Umoja Rising delivered when it mattered most, securing a buzzer-beater victory in a dramatic overtime finish.

The win was more than just another result. It showcased Umoja Rising's composure under pressure and their ability to close out a tightly contested game when the stakes were at their highest.

They followed that performance with a completely different kind of victory, dismantling Fullforty 74–27. Umoja Rising dominated from the opening stages, combining strong offensive execution with defensive pressure to pull away and record a commanding 47-point victory.

The two wins highlight the team's versatility — the ability to win a close, high-pressure contest and then control a game from start to finish.
