Nibs Complete Perfect Weekend, Lekina Cruise Past Hoospire in NCL Action

NCL (NAIROBI COUNTY LEAGUE)

Panthers were left shell shocked as Nibs grabbed a dramatic 58/56 points victory, in a mammoth contest at the Anila court Komorock. Nibs who began the contest in supreme manner took the first stanza 20/12. In the third quarter Panthers would reply by the same margin as the refused to let their superiority in the NCL be ended in that manner. They faded slightly in the fourth 10/06 as Nibs held on for a big win. Vincent Maoxa was the architect in chief for Nibs as he clicked 12 points to lead them to victory While Wesley Ochieng’ managed 11 points for beaten Panthers. 

Feba ran riot against Kibera who fell to yet another demoralizing defeat 70/45 it finished. Kibera were in the contest for a huge chunk of this game however, things went horribly in the third quarter as Feba took firm control in the fourth as the points were driven home. Brighton Otieno had a superb game for Feba as he had 24 points. Stephen Mulwa managed 12 points for Kibera who continued searching for that winning formulae. 

Fam Kenya picked up where they left off las weekend with yet another impressive six man display to see off GMA  52/41. It’s becoming a habit for Fam Kenya putting in impressive displays despite having less than the full compliments of  twelve players. Dave Ngongo had 19 points to lead Six man Fam Kenya to victory while GMA didn’t manage any player on double scoring digits despite having the full compliments of 12 players

Nibs defeated Vikapu 66/38. Vikapu were giving as good as they got in the first half. But, the defense became tight in the third and fourth quarter as Nibs became difficult to break down. The third quarter finishing 19/03 and fourth 13/08. Albert Ochieng’ had 12 points for Nibs who continued to proves they are contenders while,Elly Okano had 11 points for beaten Vikapu. 

Lekina dismissed Hoospire 64/40. Santino led the scoring for Lekina with 17 points while Magecha frankline had 13 points for beaten Hoospire. 

In another make-up game, Nibs sneaked past Redhill Storms 49/45. Yar Simon had 15 points for the Redhill storms but it wasn’t enough for it to see them to victory. All in all Nibs collected three wins out of three in a busy weekend that they had make- up games.
