The action continued in the Kisumu League on March 14 as the Lady Mystics delivered a strong performance against Storm Bees, securing a 53–25 victory in Game 2 of their matchup.
Leading the charge for the Mystics was Stephanie Tongoi, who dominated the game with an impressive 21 points, helping her team maintain control from start to finish. On the Storm Bees side, Mitchele Obungu put up 9 points, while Faith Atieno contributed 5 points in a tough outing for the team.
Storm Bees will get another opportunity to turn things around as they are scheduled to face the Lady Mystics for a third game. The matchup will be crucial for Storm Bees, who will be looking to secure at least one win and avoid a 3–0 start to their season, while the Mystics aim to protect their perfect record and continue their early-season momentum.
Meanwhile, the 5x5 competition will pause on March 22 as teams shift focus to the March edition of the monthly 3x3 tournament, set for Saturday, March 28. The tournament is expected to feature six women’s teams and three men’s teams, promising an exciting day of fast-paced basketball action.
